Meet Dr Little

Our practice is dedicated not to just treating smiles, but to developing meaningful, lifelong relationships with every person we treat.

Amaris M. Little, DDS

"I love my work as a dentist. Every day, I feel rewarded to have made a difference in my patients' lives."
- Dr. Little

When a patient comes to me for treatment, it should go without saying that my goal is to give them the highest quality dental care and treatment. But I've also learned that it's just as important to take the time to make them feel comfortable, and to relieve any anxiety they might be feeling. That's why we have created a soothing environment that caters to even the most phobic of patients, and take ample time to answer questions and discuss concerns.

I wanted to practice in Frederick, because I grew attached to it and connected to the people while I was in school at Mount Saint Mary's. I spent much of this time working with my brothers at our family business-- Little's Furniture-- located in downtown Frederick. My husband and I recently remodeled an historic property in downtown Frederick, so we enjoy hosting small groups of friends for get-togethers, as well as taking advantage of all the wonderful opportunities that living downtown brings.

In my free time, I love to travel, as well as spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing the piano and tennis.

Community Involvement

I am blessed to be part of such a wonderful community, and I believe strongly that "giving back" is part of everyone's responsibility. I volunteer with Mission of Mercy's Dental Clinic, providing free dental care to those in the area who cannot afford it, and have also spent time working with Operation Blessing, a similar program organized to provide free dental care to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in the New Orleans area. I'll always be thankful to Big Brothers, Big Sisters for introducing me to my "little sister," Meghan. Volunteering is its own reward, but I was honored to have received Frederick's Community Champion Award Recognizing Outstanding Community Service.

Bet You Didn't Know…

I was a "ball girl" for the Baltimore Orioles while in dental school—I have lots of entertaining stories about my experiences with celebrities and athletes from that time!
